About Us

Lisa Warr-King Packer is a seasoned winemaker with over 15 years of experience in the wine industry. She is the former owner of Warr-King Wines, a boutique winery located in Woodinville, Washington. Lisa's journey into winemaking began after a successful career in tech marketing, when she discovered her passion for wine and decided to pursue it wholeheartedly. In 2011, Lisa founded Warr-King Wines to showcase the unique terroir of Washington State. Her minimalist approach to winemaking emphasizes letting the wine express its true character, resulting in bold, structured wines with fruit-forward flavors and elegant finishes. Lisa's wines have been praised for their distinctiveness and craftsmanship, reflecting her deep knowledge and love for the art of winemaking. Lisa's dedication to quality and her close relationships with growers made Warr-King a beloved name in the Woodinville wine community.  

As Warr-King Wines grew, Lisa found the pressures of managing the business grew as well. So when a buyer approached with an offer to purchase Warr-King Wines in 2022, Lisa jumped at the chance. After taking a couple years off to recharge, Lisa is back at it with Mana Vintners, taking a smaller and even more painstaking approach to crafting some of the most elegant wines in Washington State.

While Warr-King Wines was a nod to Lisa's European family heritage, Mana Vintners is a grateful acknowledgement of Lisa's childhood growing up in Hawaii. "Mana" is a Polynesian word that describes the power of the elemental forces of nature embodied in an object or person. Similarly, Mana Vintners' wines are an embodiment of the forces that shaped the spectacular terroir in Washington State, as well as the spirit and dedication of the growers and winemakers who deliver the magic in every glass of wine.
